Absolutely STUNNING flowers! I ordered these as a gift to be delivered to a friend. They texted me a picture of the flowers prior to and after delivery! (They were left at the door). Couldn’t be happier with the service and the flower arrangement, highly recommend!

Sloan at bōtan was remarkable to work with for our wedding. She is incredibly talented and passionate about what she does and thoughtful about the flowers she uses. She took the time to talk with me and my husband for an hour at our initial meeting to go over our vision and ideas and also to educate us on the flower market. We had a walkthrough with her at the venue before our wedding which I would highly recommend, and Sloan really made our vision come to life. My bouquet was gorgeous and better than I could’ve dreamed. She was quick to respond to any of our questions during the planning process and when our wedding day was very warm, she took extra precautions to make sure everything stayed fresh. Sloan is incredibly thoughtful, talented, and I could not recommend bōtan enough.

Sloan is my go-to for flowers. She makes the most beautiful arrangements, and is also environmentally conscious about her materials. Her flowers last a long time, and also most of the arrangements continue to look beautiful when they dry, so I keep them for a really long time. Bonus is that the store has lots of nice gifts, and also fun workshops.

I have been admiring Botan's work on Instagram, I believe since she started her business under a year ago. She has a strong aesthetic sense and obviously amazing taste....just look at her Instagram feed! I rarely have the occasion to send flowers and when I treat myself, I usually just get some cut flowers and arrange them myself. Unfortunately, my friends mother passed from Covid-19. In a time of isolation and quarantine, I wasn't sure of the best way to provide solace, but I know flowers always work for that. I was excited to order and see what Sloan would come up with with limited availability because of the virus...some florists weren't even open. The flowers were even more beautiful than I could have imagined. She was very kind when I spoke to her on the phone; she explained it might be a few days since she wanted the flowers to be fresh and availability was effected. I ordered Friday afternoon and she delivered the flowers before noon on Monday! She let me know when she was ready to deliver and texted me some photographs after the delivery. Needless my friend was delighted as well. Being new in business is difficult enough, but having these additional obstacles can be devastating. Do yourself a favor, treat yourself or someone else! At the very least check out her work. Shop local!!

Absolutely gorgeous flowers!! My best friend and I ordered a pick up order for our other best friend’s graduation. She’s the first in her family to graduate so it was imperative that we get her something really special. I looked at several Buffalo florists and nothing was hitting me. I found Botān and my jaw dropped at the bouquets offered. No one else is offering bouquets like these. We picked the Anaïs and MAN! We were not disappointed! Our best friend said they were the most beautiful flowers she’s ever seen. I live in AZ, so I didn’t get to see them in person, but the pictures made me very happy. 💜💜💜 I’d go to Sloan for any future flower needs.

This is the flower shop of my dreams. Sloan helped my son curate his own bouquet. She was so kind and helpful. This is the place to go if you want variety and quality that you can’t find at any other shop in western New York.

Sloan was AMAZING and I highly recommend Botan flowers! I am from out of state, and I found myself needing flowers for delivery in Buffalo late on Friday night. To no one’s surprise, all of the flower shops were closed. Botan was having an event, so they happened to be open when I called. I explained my situation to Sloan and she was extremely kind and helpful and told me even though they were technically closed, she would help me out and take my order and make sure it go delivered! She was a total life saver and the arrangement turned out beautifully and really made my friend in the hospital feel so loved. She communicated with me at each step of the process and even sent me pictures once the arrangement had been delivered! Can’t say enough good things about my experience! Thank you Sloan and Botan!! You’re the best!

Sloan is an extraordinary talent and a wonderful human! We loved having Botan as our florist for our rehearsal dinner and our wedding. From the very first call, we knew that Sloan was environmentally conscious and unique in her style - which were the two main characteristics we were looking for knowing that wedding florals can be incredibly harmful for the planet (but oh so beautiful). She listened to our every need and exceeded our expectations. From the arbor pieces, to the bouquets, and centerpieces, I audibly gasped from the overwhelming beauty every time I saw her work throughout our wedding day. My biggest regret is that we don't live in Buffalo to enjoy her work regularly, but will always stop by whenever we are in town. Thank you, Sloan!
